Our emotions are our security system. We have been well trained to ignore or it. But our emotions simply want to be acknowledged. Our emotions are that person in the room raising their hands bringing your attention to something important.


We all have emotions, and we all need emotions good and bad. We like good emotions and try to avoid the bad. The issue arises in the avoidance, when we avoid, we miss important information. Our emotions help us to determine what is important, and what we value most. If we don't give them the attention they require, our barometer gets out of whack, and our goals and purpose soon follow. So take time to acknowledge what your emotions are telling you.
