About the Event
We're back at one of our favorite venues, Sellersville Theater. Celebrate the international release of our debut album and be a part of our live recording of this auspicious event. The evening will feature all the favorites from Aria 51: Bowie, Queen, The Specials, Andrew Lloyd Webber PLUS new music for our 2024 season from Piazzola and Zappa.
In other words: stuff you know, stuff you don't know, and stuff we've never played before.
Led by concert thereminist Mano Divina Giannone, the Divine Hand Ensemble defies categorization. Mano Divina bends electricity with his hands to release angelic voices from his fingertips while being backed by an exquisite string quartet, two harps, vibraphone, and accordion.
Described as “hypnotic, breathtaking, and mesmerizing, an amalgamation of magic, science, and music”, the ensemble is the world’s only theremin-fronted band. Over the past ten years they’ve performed
internationally for diverse audiences as well as dignitaries such as Pope Francis, the Dali Lama, President of the UN, film directors M.Night Shyamalan and David Lynch, the DEA, and the Royal Family of Serbia.
The ensemble specializes in classical compositions, opera arias, popular favorites; everything from Beethoven to Bowie. They've just released their debut album, Aria 51. A sci-fi musical journey, Aria 51 is new sound of classical music that pushes the boundaries of the crossover genre.
