Talk to yourself like you would to your best friend

  • Instead of harping on a bad thought, replace it with a positive affirmation.



Positive affirmations are statements that are said with confidence and perceived truth. By saying them, you're addressing something negative in your life in a healthy way. You have to fully believe the words that are coming out of your mouth and use phrases that you know will steer you to a better outlook. Don't just say, "I can play this measure" but say things like: "I am an intelligent person that knows the steps to play the way I want" When you get more specific, it will help you see the picture much more clearly.
