Meditate and visualize for eight minutes for five days straight
Before you practice or even when you first wake up; find a quiet spot and just focus on breathing, after a few minutes think of one passage of your piece. Think about the notes and how you want them to sound. Breathe, visualize yourself playing the passage just the way you would like. Breathe, and just enjoy and relax into the vision.
THE SCIENCE Neuroscientists have found that monks who spend years meditation actually grow their left prefrontal cortex. This part of the brain is responsible for feeling happy, focus and attention and remembering your goals and any instructions you need for accomplishing those goals
