My guest for this vlogcast is Cellist, Rajli (Riley) Bicolli. Rajli and I discuss being a new dad, his innovative spirit, and how bringing music to Philadelphia residents brings him happiness.

Rajli Bicolli, Founder/Owner of Elegance String Quartet, has made his career in the special

events industry since 2010 and has crafted a unique sound that distinguishes his ensemble

among the modern string quartets. Raised in a family of musicians, he earned his Master’s in

cello performance and soon after founded the ensemble that would become ESQ. What began

as a hobby of arranging modern songs for classical instruments became the quartet’s

trademark. Their unique style and sound have earned them a reputation as one of the most

sought-after ensembles in the tri-state area and beyond: recent engagements include special

commissions for Comic Con, Musikfest in Bethlehem, and an invitation to perform at Google’s

Headquarters in Silicon Valley, CA. Rajli’s ingenuity lead him to develop JukeTune, a digital

jukebox app that allows event guests to engage with the band by making requests. Rajli’s

relationship with his clients, commitment to excellence, and innovative approach has garnered

rave reviews; his ability to foster a creative and enjoyable work environment has allowed him

to build a consistent roster of some of Philadelphia’s best musicians.
